Q: Do I need experience to become a member?
A: Yes. Membership is for experienced ceramicists who can work independently in the studio. You should be confident in clay preparation, safe use of equipment, and following firing processes without instruction.

We don’t provide formal tuition as part of membership. If you’re new to ceramics, our courses and workshops are the best way to build the skills you’ll need before joining. If you’re unsure whether you meet the experience level required, please contact us for advice.
